Hosted by "Big Marv" Dickson. Registration fee is $10.00 for all attendees (member or guest) and includes lunch, possible lunch upgrade available. Plenty of tables in this large outdoor site in the old west. Open display theme with awards presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in both "Peoples Choice" and "Judges Choice", plus the Long Distance Award. 2018 ALPS Souvenir Plates will be available for purchase. 41 Veterans Drive New Britain Connecticut VFW Post 511 ALPCA Colonial Region winter meet at VFW Post 511, 41 Veterans Drive, New Britain, CT 06050, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Colonial Region invites you what promises to be another block buster event, as last year’s event at this location drew 91 members from 13 states. The VFW post has a 5,000 square foot hall with 65 tables, and the large adjacent parking area allows level, easy direct access into the hall. Member registration fees are $7 with no table, $15 with one table, and additional tables are $20 each. Plan now to attend and enjoy a day of lively trading well into the afternoon, with a donation auction that features quality material from near and far. Breakfast and lunch food will be available on-site, along with complimentary coffee and donuts. 710 S. West St Peotone Illinois Will County Fairgrounds ALPCA Mid-America Plate Association (MAPA) returns to the Will County Fairgrounds, Atrium Building, 710 S. West St., Peotone, IL, just a little drive from our old site. Bigger site, much easier to get in to and to load and unload. Just get off on I-57 at Exit 327 go East about 1.5 miles and then a left on to West St. right before the tracks and you are at the Atrium. We are in the North half so we will be entering on the North side. Open from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., or earlier sometimes, and our usual donation auction at 11:00 A.M. Registration fee is $5.00 for MAPA members, $10.00 for non-MAPA members. ALPCA attendance policy applies. Tables are $5.00 each and because this site is almost three times as large as the prior site, large displays are encouraged. Awards for Best of Show and Favorite Plate. 3449 Virgil Circle Pleasanton California Gentile Residence ALPCA Gold Rush Region late winter meet in Pleasanton, CA. Home of Jim Gentile and his wife at 3449 Virgil Circle, Pleasanton, CA 94588. The meet begins at 8 a.m. and ends around 3 p.m. Lunch will be home-cooked and served around noon. Ten dollars for members and five dollar for guests. Since we will be coming out of hibernation expect many amazing plates to appear, both on displays as well as for sale or trade. Jim’s place is a small museum of plates and car-related artifacts, so you will enjoy the surroundings as much as the company of those in attendance. Bring a display and some plates for our auction. 200 S Water St Henderson Nevada Henderson Convention Center ALPCA Silver State Region 38th Annual Meet at Henderson Convention Center. 200 S Water St. Three day meet from Wed March 21 to Friday March 23. This will be the largest license plate meet in the Western United States in 2018. This is a three day meet starting with parking lot activities on Tues at the Fiesta Henderson our host hotel. The growth of this meet necessitated moving to a larger site. Includes lunch with donation auction and business meeting to follow. Chesterfield is located just south of Richmond. Same location as past spring meets. Take I-95 or I-64 to Va. Route 288, then exit at Va. Route 10 east. Turn left at the first light onto Courthouse Road; fairgrounds are one mile on your right. This is a very large hall with a level, drive-up unloading area and eighty or more 6-foot tables available, so table reservations will not be needed. First table $10; additional tables $5 each; walk-ins $5. Donation auction will be held; refreshments and lunch provided. Award categories will be announced at a later date. 1800 New Garden Rd Greensboro North Carolina New Garden Moose Lodge ALPCA Carolina's Collector's Club (CCC) regional meet at New Garden Moose Lodge, 1800 New Garden Rd., Greensboro, NC 27410. The lodge is a fantastic facility with its large room and plenty of tables and chairs. The level entry allows easy access with hand trucks. The meet hours are 8am until 3pm. Our Greensboro meets have historically been well attended. Entry fee is $5, tables are $5 each. This meet's theme will be city or county plates depending on jurisdiction issue. Bring singles or mounted displays to show your treasures. We will give the longest distance attendee $75 to help with your gas costs. This is an ALPCA sanctioned tag meet. Only ALPCA members or prospective members will be allowed entry. This will likely be the only CCC meet for 2018, so don't miss out on having a ton of fun under our new leadership. 40 Black Mountain Rd Brattleboro Vermont Brattleboro VFW Post 1034 ALPCA Colonial Region Spring Meet at the Brattleboro VFW Post 1034, 40 Black Mountain Rd., Brattleboro, VT, 05301. This will be a Saturday meet. Doors open at 8:00 AM, meet will run until 3:00 PM. This will be our third visit to the site that welcomed between 70 and 80 members from 15 states and provinces, and boasted 65 tables at the last two year’s spring meets. This location is right off I-91. Take exit 3 in Brattleboro, and go 1/8th of a mile to US Route 5. Go south for a quarter mile and take a right at the first traffic light onto Black Mountain Rd. Enter the third driveway on the left for the VFW hall. We will be on the ground floor, with no stairs or grade to overcome to enter the hall. There will be plenty of parking within easy access to the hall entrance, and lodging available at the five hotels located within a mile of the meet. This hall site is located within 20 miles of the Vermont/ Mass state line, and one mile of the New Hampshire/Vermont state line. Complementary coffee and donuts will be provided. Member registration fees are $7 with no table, $15 with one table, and additional tables are $20 each. 1281 Bangor Road Nazareth Pennsylvania Plainfield Farmers Grove ALPCA Region #1 Third Annual Fall Meet at the Plainfield Farmers’ Grove, 1281 Bangor Road, Nazareth, PA 8:00am to 2:00pm?? This is located at the junction of PA RT. 191 and Kesslersville Road in Plainfield Township which is 5 miles north of Stockertown and 5 miles south of Bangor. This is an outdoor meet with no inside backup and will be held rain or shine. There are several pavilions with a limited number of picnic tables and also a large grassy/parking area with lots of room. So feel free to bring your own tables and chairs or just spread your goodies on the grass. Admission fee is $8.00 per ALPCA member. 49237 W Papago Road Maricopa Arizona Raceway Bar and Grill ALPCA Arizona License Plate Society Year End Meet at Raceway Bar and Grill, 49237 W Papago Road in the Town of Maricopa; Hours 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, please do not arrive before 7:30. Registration fee is $10.00 for all attendees over 12 years old, includes admission to the meet and lunch. This is a fun bar and grill with lots of license plates and other collectibles on display. Restaurant was featured on the show "American Pickers." Meet will take place mostly outdoors in a fenced-in area. Bring a hat and watch the weather. There is a backup plan if it rains. There will be about 50 tables which should be enough, but if we run short we will limit tables to two per member. Plenty of space if you are able to bring your own table. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the display theme "Military and Veterans". Also the Greg 'Zeke' Donaldson favorite plates award and the Long Distance Award.
