41 Veterans Drive New Britain Connecticut VFW Post 511 ALPCA Colonial Region winter meet returns for our third meet at the VFW Post 511, 41 Veterans Drive, New Britain, CT 06050, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Colonial Region invites you what promises to be another block buster event, as the previous events at this location have averaged attendance of over 80 members from 13 states. The VFW post has a 5,000 square foot hall with 65 tables, and the large adjacent parking area allows level, easy direct access into the hall. Plan now to attend and enjoy a day of lively trading well into the afternoon, with a donation auction that features quality material from near and far. Food will be available on-site, along with complimentary coffee and donuts. Member registration fees are $7 with no table, $15 with one table, and additional tables are $20 each. Directions: An easy drive from I-91: From I-91 north or south, take exit 22N onto Rte. 9 N. Then take exit 24 onto Rte. 571, and just shy of a half mile ahead, take the Rte. 71 exit. 500 Veterans Memorial Dr La Grange Texas VFW Hall ALPCA Texas Region meet at VFW Hall, 500 Veterans Memorial Dr, La Grange. This is the first meet in the southern half of the state in almost ten years and is the first of four planned meets for the year. The VFW Hall is on the Fayette County Fairgrounds on US highway 77 just north of La Grange. Meet times 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Admission $5 and tables $5. Coffee and doughnuts in the morning and lunch at noon will be provided at no charge. Donation auction after lunch, at about 12:30. 1010 Grant Avenue Novato California Redwood Credit Union ALPCA Gold Rush Region first meet of 2019 at Redwood Credit Union, 1010 Grant Avenue, Novato 94945. We met here in December of 2017 and really enjoyed the location and home-cooked lunch. Please note that we will be starting at 9 a.m. since that is when the Credit Union opens, and will end at 2 p.m. We will use the conference room, which has a separate entrance from the credit union lobby. Also, we can unload near the conference room, but will need to move our vehicles onto street parking so we do not interfere with Credit Union patrons. Displays are encouraged and we will have display award plates, first, second and third place, for single plate, people’s choice and best of show. 710 S. West St Peotone Illinois Will County Fairgrounds ALPCA Mid-America Plate Association (MAPA) returns to the Will County Fairgrounds, Atrium Building, 710 S. West St., Peotone, IL, just a little drive from our old site. Bigger site, much easier to get in to and to load and unload. Just get off on I-57 at Exit 327 go East about 1.5 miles and then a left on to West St. right before the tracks and you are at the Atrium. We are in the North half so we will be entering on the North side. Open from 8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., or earlier sometimes, and our usual donation auction at 11:00 A.M. Registration fee is $5.00 for all attendees. ALPCA attendance policies apply to all. 40 Black Mountain Rd Brattleboro Vermont Brattleboro VFW Post 1034 ALPCA Colonial Region Spring Meet at Brattleboro VFW Post 1034, 40 Black Mountain Rd., Brattleboro, VT, 05301. This will be a Saturday meet. Doors open at 8:00 AM, meet will run until 3:00 PM. This will be our fourth visit to the site that welcomed an average of over 80 members from 15 states and provinces over the past three years, with 65 tables available. This location is right off I-91. Take exit 3 in Brattleboro, and go 1/8th of a mile to US Route 5. Go south for a quarter mile and take a right at the first traffic light onto Black Mountain Rd. Enter the third driveway on the left for the VFW hall. We will be on the ground floor, with no stairs or grade to overcome to enter the hall. There will be plenty of parking within easy access to the hall entrance, and lodging available at the five hotels located within a mile of the meet. This hall site is located within 20 miles of the Vermont/ Mass state line, and one mile of the New Hampshire/Vermont state line. Complementary coffee and donuts will be provided. Chesterfield is located just south of Richmond. Take I-95 or I-64 to Va. Route 288, then exit at Va. Route 10 east. Turn left at the first light onto Courthouse Road; fairgrounds are one mile on your right. This is a very large hall with a level, drive-up unloading area and more 6-foot tables than we can use, so table reservations will not be needed. 1510 Sportsman's Lake Road NW Cullman Alabama Cullman County Fairgrounds ALPCA Heart of Dixie Region Third Annual Plate Meet at Cullman County Fairgrounds, 1510 Sportsman's Lake Road NW, Cullman, Alabama 35055, in beautiful Cullman, Alabama! Friday, May 17th, will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, May 18th, will be from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The closest I-65 exit to the fairgrounds, Exit 310, also has the most hotels, restaurants, and gas stations you can shake a stick at. There is a Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, Sleep Inn, and a Best Western on Exit 310. There is also a new Wal-Mart on Exit 310. There is a Days Inn at the Exit 308, but only one gas station and no restaurants. Sportsman's Lake Road is off of Hwy 31 (the old Bee Line Hwy to you old timers), which runs North and South through Cullman. If you're coming North on Hwy 31 you turn left onto Sportsman's Lake Road, and if you're coming South on Hwy 31 you turn right onto it. Then, the fairgrounds is on the left as you come down Sportsman's Lake Road. Can't miss it. Tables are $10.00 and walk ins are $5.00. 600 Lafayette Street New Market Iowa Miner Pavilion ALPCA Heartland Region invites you to attend the 26th Annual Meet, Celebrating our 25th Anniversary as a ALPCA Region. 8:00 a.m. to ???? at the "Miner Pavilion" formerly known as the New Market High School Gymnasium, 600 Lafayette Street, New Market, Iowa. This is the location where our meets were held from 1995-1998 and in 2015. New Market is located 8 miles east of Clarinda, Iowa and 12 miles west of Bedford, Iowa on Iowa Highway 2. A Boulders Inn and Suites, Super 8 and The Celebrity Inn are available in Clarinda, and other lodging is available in Bedford, Shenandoah, Maryville MO and Red Oak. 1300 E 100 S Lebanon Indiana Boone County Fairgrounds Commercial Building ALPCA Hoosier State Regional 37th Annual meet will be held at the Boone County Fairgrounds Commercial Building located at 1300 E 100 S in Lebanon, IN. from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Now is the Commercial Building (not the Community building as previously noted). Across the parking lot on the north side. The site is adjacent to I-65 at exit 138, on the east side of highway. Registration fee (no table) is $5.00 plus an additional $5.00 for each table desired. Awards will be presented for the best plate and Indiana and non-Indiana displays. In addition we will be giving away numerous door prizes, coffee and cake. Over the past 36 years we have been one of the largest and best single day plate meets in the country. So please join us. 120 Broemel Place Pennington New Jersey Pennington Fire Company ALPCA Garden State Region’s 11th Annual Meet. Your hosts: Justin Mattes and Ed Butler. Location: Pennington Fire Company, 120 Broemel Place, Pennington, NJ 08534. Hours: 8:00am – 1:00pm. Registration: $10.00 per person includes 1 table; $10.00 each additional table. Walk-in registration: $5.00 per person without table. The Pennington Fire Company is conveniently located near I-295, the New Jersey Turnpike, US Route 1, and NJ State Route 31. Come join an annual meet that has averaged over 50 collectors each meet since its inception in 2008! It should be another great meet! We have about 45 tables available for your selling and trading pleasure. We will provide coffee, doughnuts, and bagels to help start your trading day! 49237 W Papago Road Maricopa Arizona Raceway Bar and Grill ALPCA Arizona License Plate Society Year End Meet at Raceway Bar and Grill, 49237 W Papago Road in the Town of Maricopa; Hours 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, please do not arrive before 7:30. Registration fee is $10.00 for all attendees over 12 years old, includes admission to the meet and lunch. This is a fun bar and grill with lots of license plates and other collectibles on display. Restaurant was featured on the show "American Pickers." Meet will take place mostly outdoors in a fenced-in area. Bring a hat and watch the weather. There is a backup plan if it rains. Plenty of space if you are able to bring your own table. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the display theme 'Arizona'.
