ALPCA Colonial Region Massachusetts DoubleTree by Hilton
99 Erdman Way, Leominster, MA

ALPCA Colonial Region flagship meet at DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 99 Erdman Way, Leominster, Mass. *****Note: State and local Covid policies may impact this meet, up to and including possible cancellation. If at the time of the meet it is still recommended that social distancing and mask wearing must be practiced then you will be required to wear a mask for entry to, and for all time spent within the facility. For updates regarding planning and the status of the meet in regard to Covid, please contact the local meet host or check www.alpcacolonial.org. ***** The Colonial Region returns to the DoubleTree by Hilton in Leominster, Mass in the fall of 2021 to the same site that has hosted our blockbuster meets for the past six fall meets. The Sunday meet format has proven to be popular and well attended; with 155 ALPCA members plus guests at the fall 2019 meet! The DoubleTree by Hilton, located at 99 Erdman Way, Leominster, Mass, boasts the largest hall space that we’ve ever had at 7,800 square feet. With over 100 tables this means more plates, friends, and camaraderie than we’ve ever had under one roof at prior meet sites. With last year’s attendance setting a record for this location you should expect to see friends that you may not have seen in years, meet new ones, and possibly have access to the most plates outside of attending the annual convention. Bring your license plate displays to Leominster! Start planning your display now and enter it in our long-standing competition for which awards will be presented in the following categories: Passenger, Non-passenger, Small Display (ten plates or fewer), Junior Display (entrant must be under 21 years of age), and Best of Show. Be sure to consider your method of display construction, and accompanying write-up or description so those viewing can understand the significance of your display. We make a big deal out of encouraging members to bring their displays, so consider opening the doors to your collection with this long-standing tradition. We also recognize the member that travel the extra miles to attend with our long-distance award. Auction! Auction! Auction! Our donation auctions are always lively and there is something there for everyone. The Colonial Region donation auction traditionally features plates of countless description, age, jurisdictional issuance, and value point. The Colonial Region has relied on the thoughtful donations of ALPCAns across the country for many years, as this is how we fund many of our special member benefit projects. Please consider donating, be sure to register and bid! Managed deftly by Auction Manager Bob Senatro, this is an element of our meets not to be missed. Hours, entrance, fees: Hall opens at 8:00 AM, and trading will be active until well into the afternoon. There is a large carpeted indoor concourse area adjacent to the hall where members can congregate outside of the weather prior to 8:00 AM. Easy, level access to the facility from the parking lot ensures smooth transport of plates and displays in and out. Walk-ins: $7.00. Walk in with one table: $15.00. Additional tables: $20.00 each. Collectors dinner to be held the night before the meet. It has become a tradition over the past several years to hold a collectors dinner on the Saturday night before the meet, with seating at 7:00 PM and gathering prior to. Although the location is not yet confirmed for the dinner the night before the fall 2020 meet, rest assured it will be as close as practicably possible. Our 2019 collectors dinner had 40 attendees, making the overall meet experience truly a weekend long event. Please check www.alpcacolonial.org
